I am currently pursuing a PhD in the Department of Economics at HKUST. My research interests span across international trade, development, and environmental issues. In my research agenda, I try to understand three key questions: (1) What are the primary drivers of international trade? (2) How do trade and globalization impact development, environmental outcomes, etc? (3) How do various institutions and their interactions shape modern economic outcomes? Through my work, I hope to generate insights that can contribute meaningfully to both academic research and policy-making.
